Directions
Situated on the sea-front directly opposite the West pier, the hotel is within easy walking distance of the town centre. Brighton train station is a fifteen-minute walk.
Travel by air:
Gatwick Airport is about a 53-minute drive to the hotel. Heathrow Airport is about an hour and a half drive.
Travel by car:
There is a hotel car park just behind the hotel in St Margaret’s Place, Brighton, BN1 2FD. Max height 1.8m. The cost is £25 daily.
Travel by train:
The hotel is a five-minute walk from Brighton train station. A train from London Blackfriars or Victoria takes approximately an hour.

Pre-conference tour
About the tour
UCAS is pleased to once again be working in partnership with Univisits Ltd, to plan and deliver a pre-conference tour of several UK higher education providers.
What can you expect from the tour
The tour runs from Sunday evening until Wednesday, and you will visit five universities – chosen carefully to offer you a range of differing providers. The cost of the tour includes hotel accommodation (in a shared room), all ground transportation, and most meals.
Each visit will last approximately four hours. You’ll meet with the relevant international office personnel, academics, and international students.
For the pre-conference tour, transport will be arranged from Heathrow Airport at approximately 15:00 on Sunday 31 May, to start the tour of the five universities, and will drop-off at the conference hotel at approximately 16:00 on Wednesday 3 June.
Please note, accommodation for the night of Wednesday 3 June is not included in the pre-conference tour, but can be booked as an extra night through the online registration.
Pre-conference tour schedule
Sunday 31 May
Pickup from Heathrow airport, with overnight stay in the Oxford area.
Monday 1 June
Tour will begin with a visit to the University of Oxford. You will then travel to, and visit, Reading University. Overnight stay.
Tuesday 2 June
Breakfast and transfer. Visit the University of Surrey and the University of Southampton. Overnight stay.
Wednesday 3 June
Breakfast and visit to the University of Portsmouth. Transfer to conference hotel.
Cost of the tour
The cost of the full three-day, three-night tour, to include all ground transportation and hotel accommodation in a shared room, is £500 +VAT.
Single occupancy rooms are available for an extra £210 +VAT for the three nights.
Important: Accommodation for the night of Wednesday 3 June (which is not included in the pre-conference tour or the conference package) at the Hilton Metropole, Brighton, can be booked as part of the registration process.
The tour is based on a minimum group of ten people booking by Friday 1 May 2020. A full refund will be offered to all delegates if there is insufficient demand to run the tour.

The University of Sussex has kindly invited delegates attending the UCAS International Teachers’ and Advisers’ Conference to visit the university on the morning of Saturday 6 June 2020.
The visit will be an opportunity to look around the university, talk to university representatives, and meet student ambassadors.
