International Teachers' and Advisers' Conference 2018

Vanessa was appointed as International Student Adviser at the University of Bradford in March 2018, after spending nine months supporting students as a Visa Support Officer. In her current role she is responsible for providing wide ranging support services to international students, as well as planning and delivering orientation and welcome programming and liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver a quality experience for international students.

Vanessa has over ten years’ experience working with international students. Prior to joining the University of Bradford, she ran an English as a Second Language school in Los Angeles, overseeing all operational aspects including recruitment, retention, and student support services.
