Summary

Law is an interesting and challenging discipline which impacts at every level, from people's daily lives, to the operations of governments on the international stage. In the competitive field of law school admissions, it’s necessary for applicants to have a good understanding of the criteria that makes a strong UCAS application. This session will provide an overview of the key routes students can take to study law in the UK, different career paths students can pursue, and provide advice on what to expect as part of the admissions process, including what law schools are looking for in a successful candidate.

Learning outcomes:

At the end of this session, delegates will:

  • find out the top reasons why your students should consider a professional career in law and related disciplines
  • know what key attributes UK law schools are looking for, and how students can showcase their accomplishments and skills.
  • be able to provide tips and advice to prospective applicants to UK law schools
