After graduating from university, Amy spent two years on a local government graduate management scheme. After this, she joined the Department for Education, where she has worked on schools funding (including the National Funding Formula for Schools), and adoption and family law (including the Children and Social Work Act). Amy recently led on the development and implementation of the postgraduate teaching apprenticeship.
