Fiona’s role is to maintain oversight of the UCAS Teacher Training scheme. She is responsible for managing UCAS’ relationships with education provider customers of the UCAS Teacher Training scheme. This includes maintaining an effective engagement strategy for these customers, and ensuring customer insight is collated and used to lead improvements in customer experience across the scheme. Fiona leads the UCAS Teacher Training Advisory Group alongside the Chair of the group, Lisa Bowen, as well as managing other informal engagement groups.
Fiona also has responsibility for managing UCAS’ relationship with the National College of Teaching and Leadership (NCTL).
Fiona joined UCAS in 2014 as the relationship manager for lead schools and SCITT customers of the UCAS Teacher Training scheme. Fiona has a keen interest in education and prior to joining UCAS, worked as a qualified secondary school teacher, teaching history to 11 – 18 year olds.
