Widening participation and access are frequently in the press, and new cohorts of learners with specific and varied needs are emerging.

This session will cover service children, refugees and asylum seekers and estranged learners.

It’s important to be aware of these learners, so you can identify and support them through the admissions process and beyond. 

Learning outcomes:

• Understand how to identify these learners.
• Hear from other providers about how they are supporting these cohorts.
• Find out how UCAS supports WP, the work we’ve been doing with specific groups of learners – such as military families and estranged learners – and how our data products can be used in relation to WP activities.
