The Scottish Government has provided 2014 and 2015 data calculated under the revised methodology, which will appear in web-link as additional fields labelled 2014+. HEPs are advised to exercise caution when comparing this data with that relating to previous years.
The change affects the following two measures:
- Average points for Highers per student
- Average point score per Higher entry
Additionally, due to the switchover to the new UCAS Tariff for courses commencing in September 2017, note that the 2015 data has been calculated using new Tariff points. This limits comparability with 2014 data due to the different methodology and increase in qualification coverage.
This data will be available in web-link only. If you have any queries about how to access the data, please contact the HEP Team.
Providers that want to use the UCAS contextual data service are required to register with UCAS, and also to make clear to applicants if they are accessing this data, and how it is used in the admissions process. For more information about the service, please contact contextualdata@ucas.ac.uk.
