Studying Osteopathy at the BCNO Group: the student view in partnership with Unifrog

In this video created and produced by Unifrog, Helen Aitchison, a first year student at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine (part of the BCNO Group), talks about what it is like to study Osteopathy as a degree and its content.

What makes us different

The BCNO Group brings together two world renowned osteopathic institutions, the British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) and the European School of Osteopathy (ESO). Working together, we offer a broad and inclusive osteopathic education, with a team of experienced and dedicated faculty, staff and tutors. We are one of the few specialist osteopathic higher education institutions in the UK. We offer a warm and friendly atmosphere and a strong sense of community

The BCNO Group has an international reputation for academic and research excellence in Osteopathy. The breadth of knowledge and experience of our tutors helps prepare our graduates for a more fulfilling and successful career, whether that be in private practice or within a multi-disciplinary healthcare setting.

100% of graduates are in employment 6 months after graduating (based on 2022- 23 BCNO Group respondents who had applied for employment – others travelled or went on to further study).

"I chose the ESO not only for its convenient location of being close to both the city and the coast, but the inclusive nature of the course. Being a smaller university/osteopathy school, you really get to know your own year as well as the others, lecturers know your name and are easily accessible too. Students from all walks of life, all ages, this school is truly unique in that sense."
