Student life

East London is a vibrant hub of creative energy boasting some of the most exciting music venues, street markets and restaurants London has to offer, right on your doorstep. The University of East London is one of the few London universities to have a self-contained campus. Docklands is home to our modern and secure student village which boasts scenic waterfront views and convenient travel links.

Our free shuttle bus service can take you between our three campus locations in as little as 25 minutes, and easy access to the Elizabeth Line from both Stratford and Docklands means you could be in Central London within 20 minutes.

If staying close to campus suits you better you can meet new people through events run by the student's union, or visit one of our regular showcase events to hear new music or admire the creative talents of our art, architecture, and fashion students.

You will also benefit from:

  • Vibrant, welcoming spaces
  • Unlimited WiFi Access
  • 24/7 Library access at Docklands and Stratford
