About us
At SOAS, we use our expertise in Africa, Asia and the Middle East as a lens through which to interrogate and understand the major challenges of our time. With an explicit mandate of social justice, we bring the diversity of the world to our vibrant campus in central London.
We are a truly global institution. We are ranked 2nd in the UK for international faculty (QS 2024), we offer a wide array of study abroad options to over 70 destinations worldwide, and we welcome students and staff to our London campus from over 140 countries.
