Student life

Our west London campus has great transport links to central London, which is bursting with successful businesses, industry leaders and a career-driven culture that grips you from the start. When you are not busy exploring its inspiring business districts, you can opt for some of the UK’s best art galleries, fashion exhibitions, museums, sport, music, comedy, theatre, nightclubs, restaurants and shopping.

The UWL community is made up of supporting, enthusiastic and considerate staff and students. We are committed to delivering the best student experience, and this means ensuring all students are valued, celebrated and respected.

We want you to experience university life to the full, so the support we offer is aimed at helping you reach your potential. Whether it is practical, personal, or study support that you need, help is available and easily accessible.

There are 32 boroughs in Greater London, stretching from the City of London and Westminster, to surrounding areas like Chelsea, Camden, Richmond, Hackney and Islington.

It’s big, but it’s easy to jump on a train, tube or bus to experience everything on offer – from food pop-ups to world famous music acts, free museums and West End shows.

Fantastically diverse and historical, with many industries and businesses based here to kickstart your career, London is one of the most desirable – if pricey – cities in the world.
