The University of Brighton is home to over 150 undergraduate courses and over 120 postgraduate courses, each with built-in vocational training including placements, live project briefs, study abroad and more. Brighton encourages students to tailor their courses to fit their career goals while studying in a way that plays to their strengths.

The University of Brighton is in the top 3rd in the UK for employment or further study, three years after graduating (Longitudinal Education Outcomes 2021/22). This is testament to the University’s teaching quality and strong graduate outcomes.

Students can boost their CV while studying through: 

  • Placements, internships, study abroad, live project briefs or assessed voluntary work. 
  • A year's paid placement in the third year, or a four-to-six-week credit-bearing placement during the course. 
  • Work-related learning can be completed throughout some courses to gain the required clinical or practice hours assessed.
