Can fashion be taught? This was likely the question posed by Giulio Marangoni in 1935, a man renowned for dressing the Italian aristocracy with his exquisite designs. To answer this question, he founded the Istituto Artistico dell’Abbigliamento Marangoni in Milan, a school dedicated to training highly specialized professionals and technicians for the fashion world. Over the years, the Marangoni Institute has consistently valued education, continually updating its study programs to reflect the evolving tastes and markets, both in Italy and internationally. In recent years, Istituto Marangoni has expanded globally, opening new schools in London in 2003, Paris in 2006, Shanghai in 2013, as well as launching the new School of Fashion, Art, and Design in Florence in September 2016. More recently, it has established campuses in Shenzhen (2016), Mumbai (2017), and Miami (2018), all hubs of international fashion, design, and luxury.

With the goal of preparing tomorrow’s professionals in key areas such as creation, communication, and managerial coordination, Istituto Marangoni offers a wide range of preparatory courses, three-year programs, one-year courses, master’s degrees, and short courses.
