Student life
We are committed to ensuring your university experience is fulfilling both academically and socially. Our campus is home to over 300 student-led societies and clubs, from gaming clubs to sports teams and social enterprise to quidditch. We also have a range of cultural societies that can help you connect with others with the same interest when you’re away from home. As well as learning new skills our societies are a great way to make new friends and settle into university life.

Support for international students
We provide support to international students to help adapt to academic life and thrive in the UK. Students can receive course-related guidance from their Personal Academic Tutor, while the Academic Skills Service is available to improve study techniques such as academic writing and research skills. The Academic Centre for International Students provides English language support, including pre-sessional courses. We also offer assistance on all topics all day every day through the Student Hub, from visa and immigration support to budgeting, ensuring you have support every step of the way.
