Currently I am studying for my Masters in Mechanical engineering and working on my dissertation on Nuclear NDT methods and techniques.
I have worked at Sellafield Nuclear during my placement industrial year as a nuclear construction engineer specializing in mechanical engineering.
In my spare time I attend the crafting society and go hiking and running, whilst catching Bake Off every week for new recipes.

BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering
Hi! I’m Erik, an engineering student at the Southampton Solent University. I have a passion for problem-solving, innovation, and hands-on projects—whether it’s designing a gas mask for my final year project or experimenting with Arduino sensors. I’m also really interested in R&D and hope to work in cutting-edge technology after university.
Outside of engineering, I play electric guitar and love getting involved in music, especially in a live setting. I also enjoy a good cup of tea (honey > sugar, always). If you have any questions about studying engineering, university life, or just want a chat, feel free to reach out!
