Hi, I’m Angel! Thanks for looking at this profile. I got into Nutrition and Health because I’m passionate about health in general but related to food and exercise specifically. I’ve seen so many people disregard health despite it being so important and I think a lot of diseases can be prevented if people are more aware of what they are consuming. Oh, I exercise too! I often go to the gym and I was into Muaythai a few years ago. Also, I love watching movies and reading books. I am currently watching Modern Family and reading The Molecule of More. Anyways, I hope you find what you are looking for here. Feel free to drop me a message anytime and I’ll do my very best to’ answer you soon. I’m very excited to be able to chat and know you guys!

Hey! I went to uni after completing my GCSEs and A-Levels and with the smallest clue of what I wanted to do for a career. Now, in my final year I can say it was the best decision for me, gifting me the chance to grow into an adult with adult responsibilities amongst others in the same situation and has aligned and inspired my interests for the future. Through my course I’ve become keen to pursue personal training and work in the fitness industry! Uni has so far been the most fun experience and by throwing myself into everything on offer like socials; sports; societies I would say I’ve had a quite well-rounded experience of university.

Health and Exercise Science - BSc (Hons)
Hi there! I am a passionate student at UOL in the School of Sport and Exercise Science, with particular interests in nutrition and health & wellbeing. How we can improve our everyday lives through what we eat and how much we take part in physical activity is astonishing, so I am always looking at current research to see what is changing! My academic background began at Secondary school, then progressing onto college to complete my Level 3 BTEC in Sport & Exercise Science (achieving Triple Distinction Star) which allowed me to gain knowledge in different disciplines.

While completing my first year of university, it was all filled with mixed emotions, from moving in, to freshers week, studying for my course (Adult nursing) , to making an amazing group of friends. For my plans for second year is to take part in the university more, hopefully join another society. I would like to also hopefully tour different countries. I believe my favourite part of this experience was meeting new people, and creating social activities to do, for example come dine with me and movie nights. Feel free to ask any questions you may have, no question is silly. 🙂
