Adventure Filmmaking (BA)

As well as my studies I run a business in manufacturing. I self taught photography over a number of years around work and eventually decided that I wanted to learn filmmaking skills as well, so I applied for the adventure filmmaking course on a part time basis. 

Over my time on the course I have learnt a lot of valuable filmmaking skills but it has also reinforced and developed my passion for photography. The adventure side of the course also helps me develop as a leader and educator in the outdoors.

Using all of the skills I have learnt so far and continue to learn on the course I would love to one day lead photography and filmmaking workshops in the UK and abroad.

Hi! I am Elisha, a third year filmmaking student! I love gaming, reading, walking, and of course, film and television. I love living in Leeds and have explored a large amount of city centre and lots of lovely nature walks- please ask me about it! Also, I frequently work and now am skilled in easily balancing my work/uni/social life, so if you have any questions surrounding that, I am more than happy to help!

Once I finish my degree I am looking to get into screenwriting and sound design, I especially enjoy foley work (like in horror’s such as a quiet place). A dream of mine is to one day work on Doctor Who.
