Hi I’m Abbie 🫶🏻. I am a primary education student here at Leeds trinity completing my first year currently. I live at home and commute in for my lectures. I am a course representative so look very closely into student feedback. I am also the mental health officer for Leeds trinity and look forward to building campaigns to help those at trinity! I was very nervous joining university but realised very quickly it’s like family where everyone is supportive and tries to help at any opportunity. The campus is beautiful and I love to study in lots of different spaces to change up the scenery every now and again! I have a dog walking business to satisfy my love of animals and am also a student ambassador for university. I work part time in a pub not far from the university and love to go running in my spare time to clear my mind! I came from sixth form to university and knew what course I wanted to do. I’m here to answer all of your questions about life at university hoping to give an insight on the student life and what to expect!

Study: I am currently studying for a master's in Education with Primary Teaching Qualification.

Student life: I enjoy spending my free time trying new food places around Glasgow and volunteering for various societies. 

Other: I love to travel and have been on a variety of travel placements that have been supported by the university, such as working at camps in America and Canada, going on a pilgrimage to Palestine, and studying a semester abroad in Austria.

Hi, I am Ellie, a second-year student studying Education and Psychology. I have a passion for education and aspire to be an educational consultant. When I was studying for my A Levels I was adamant that I didn't want to leave home, however, moving to uni has been the best decision I have ever made! Life at university has helped me explore new passions and enabled me to continue with old hobbies such as dance! As an education and psychology student, I can explore new ideas in psychology and put them into practice in education, allowing for an advanced style of thinking. Since being at uni I have immersed myself in my studies and life as a student and since becoming a course rep, student ambassador and online tutor as well as being in the dance society. After that, I have worked in a special education centre as a special education teacher for almost one year. When I was working, I won a scholarship. Thanks to the scholarship, an exiting adventure has started in my life. Thereafter, I have completed master degree at The University of Nottingham, which provided unforgettable experiences to me. Nowadays, I am in Plymouth and interested in doctoral studies about students with dyslexia. After I complete my studies, I will be academician at Marmara university in Turkey.
