Hi, my name is Emma and I am a 3rd year student currently on my year abroad in Spain! I study Spanish and my classes are based on the Exton Park campus. After completing my degree, I hope to become a Modern Languages teacher. If you have any questions about student life, what it is like being a language student at the University of Chester, or anything else, please ask! :)

BSc Nutrition and Dietetics
Hi, I'm Natalie. I am a final year undergraduate student at the University of Chester. Ask me about life as a mature student, what it's like to commute, the course itself, what Chester is like, anything at all! I will try my best to answer any questions you may have.

BSc Biomedical Science
I’m a mature student studying BSc Biomedical Science. At the moment I don’t have a set career path in mind as I’m conscious my interests may change over the duration of the course as I am exposed to different areas; however I am considering pursuing further study in the form of a Masters or a PhD. I’m happy to answer any questions, whether course specific or about general university life.

MEng Chemical Engineering
I've always had a big interest in anything to do with science. I always like to ask "why?" and figure out how things work. That's why I've chosen to go down the chemical engineering path. Outside of education I have a large interest in crocheting and I make and sell my own little plushies. And ever since I was a young child I've always had a book by the side of my desk or my bed. It's my form of relaxation and I love getting lost in the pages with a nice warm drink to accompany me :)

MChem Chemistry (Industrial Project) (F111)
Hey, I'm Ben and I've been studying Chemistry at Durham Uni for the past 3 years. After doing all three sciences up to A-Level I found Chemistry to be my favourite, and Durham University has been fantastic for allowing me to explore it in depth whilst still contextualising it in terms of its wider impact. As a result, I've got an industrial placement lined up next year working for Johnson Matthey, where I'll be part of a research team focused around catalysis. Feel free to drop me a message with any questions about Durham's Chemistry course or about anything in general in terms of studying and living in Durham, and I'll try my best to answer them!

After my undergraduate degree I would love to work in industry for a few years in Germany or go on to do a postgraduate to become a professor and teach chemistry at an undergraduate level, as well as conduct my own research.

MChem Chemistry (Industrial Project) (F111)
Hi everyone!
I'm Charlotte, a third year MChem student from Durham University. I'm interested in organic and medicinal chemistry, transition metal catalysis and drug development. I am hoping to pursue a career in the pharmaceutical industry after I have graduated. I have worked as a tutor and student mentor for the University so feel free to ask me anything related to chemistry, admissions to university, the collegiate system at Durham or any other questions you may have! 😊

Chemistry MChem (Hons)
Hi, I am a second year chemistry with a professional placement student at the University of Bath. I’m a big fan of long walks and listening to podcasts. I love my course - especially inorganic chemistry. Feel free to ask me any questions on placement years, chemistry, general university life and Bath.

MChem Chemistry (Industrial Project) (F111)
Hi! I'm Harry and I'm a UG Chemistry student at Castle. I am an active member of Castle JCR, and I'm involved in numerous peer support projects here at Durham. I enjoy going to the gym and playing video games in my free time away from my degree (which I absolutely adore, by the way!)
I am hoping to transition to a career in engineering when I graduate, as I often work in this industry over my summers away from Durham. I remember how scared I was of applying to university and settling in, so please feel free to ask any questions about my course, or wider university life in general!

MSc Chemistry
Hi, I’m a third year chemist currently applying for a placement year in industry. I hope that I will go into a research based career in chemistry bases upon the knowledge I have gained in pure chemistry and biological chemistry modules I have done at Durham University. I also have found doing a variety of sports and volunteering at University very rewarding.

Hello! My name is Cherri and I'm a third year American Studies student. Feel free to ask me questions about living on campus, applying to university or more general questions about student life.
During my degree I have taken modules from many different departments (history, literature, psychology, criminology, philosophy and more) so I may have some knowledge about your department if that's what you are looking for.
