BA (Hons) Primary Initial Teacher Education with QTS
I am currently twenty years old and in my first year of training to become a primary school teacher. I love all things Disney and stationary so you can imagine what my classroom would look like! I love to help people and take one of many dogs on a walk somewhere new as often as I can. I am currently the SVR for Education at USW and one of four course representatives for my course.

BA Primary Education (5-11) with QTS
Currently I am training to be a teacher and I am in my first year. On my course I will go on placement into a school to observe how a school teaches and have a go at teaching a class and some subjects myself which will build confidence. In my free time I enjoy watching studio chinking films as they are very relaxing to watch and and the art style is very pleasing to see.

I plan to become a primary teacher in the future. I used to teach in a St John Ambulance youth group as i used to teach a welcome pack created by my unit. I also love singing and dancing in my spare time.

Hi I’m Abbie 🫶🏻. I am a primary education student here at Leeds trinity completing my first year currently. I live at home and commute in for my lectures. I am a course representative so look very closely into student feedback. I am also the mental health officer for Leeds trinity and look forward to building campaigns to help those at trinity! I was very nervous joining university but realised very quickly it’s like family where everyone is supportive and tries to help at any opportunity. The campus is beautiful and I love to study in lots of different spaces to change up the scenery every now and again! I have a dog walking business to satisfy my love of animals and am also a student ambassador for university. I work part time in a pub not far from the university and love to go running in my spare time to clear my mind! I came from sixth form to university and knew what course I wanted to do. I’m here to answer all of your questions about life at university hoping to give an insight on the student life and what to expect!

I’m currently studying to become a primary school teacher and I am definitely loving doing this at Leeds Beckett! I study on the Headingley campus where I also lived in halls for my first year. I love cooking (and eating), baking, singing and watching TV. I’m also a nail technician on the side which I absolutely love, as everyday is completely different with everyone wanting a different type of nail. Feel free to get in touch with me if you have any questions about absolutely anything uni/Leeds related, always here for a chat :)

After finishing my A-levels at small sixth form in 2019 (and a few gap years!), I started my university journey. It took me a long time to decide what path I wanted to take, so I very much relate to the uncertainty you might be feeling at this stage!
I am from a very rural village in Cornwall, so naturally love the outdoors. So, for someone not used to urban living, Plymouth is a great in-between! It has so much to offer, including a balance between city and coastal life.
I am now in my third (and final!) year of my BEd Primary Education degree, specialising in geography. After graduating in 2025, I hope to pursue a career in teaching and share my passion for educating for sustainability.
