I have always enjoyed the academic scene, with my focus being in history and an interest in literature which I did as an A-level along with history and philosophy. My passion for history was cultivated from primary education and I have continued it since. In my spare time I enjoy exercise and socialising with my peers.

Archaeology (MPhil leading to PhD)

Hi! I'm currently an archaeology PhD student. I have previously completed my MSc and Ba with Uwtsd so I'm currently in my 5th year at the university. I have wanted to be an archaeologist for many years and hope to work as an Environmental archaeologist in the future.  My passions outside the classroom include netball, acting and playing saxophone. I love to keep active and cook amazing meals for next to nothing. If anyone ever needs a chat or anything i am always happy to listen, and don't worry i'm easy to find! Just look for the girl with the bright colours and ear cuffs! Because that's me!!

Hi! I'm Yoyo and I'm a third and final year undergraduate student doing BA Archaeology. I'm from Hong Kong, but my family and I moved to Durham since June 2022. I'm currently in St. John's College but I live outside of college this year (I stayed in college in first year). I also did the International Foundation Year in Durham.
