Within Natural Sciences, I study modules on the biology and psychology pathways with some of my favourite areas being evolutionary biology, zoology and social psychology. I really enjoy opportunities where I am working with people such as job a Student Ambassador and thrive in roles where I can make a positive change through socialising with others. I have interests in orcas and politics plus I love dogs and Disney!! I like playing badminton, playing board games, sewing and getting involved in the university community through societies and opportunities. Currently, I would like a career where I can improve the education system to make it fairer and more enjoyable/practical for students.

I am a second year on the European Theatre Arts course at Rose Bruford. I come from a small town two hours outside of London kinda close to Bristol. I have worked at Glastonbury festival for the past two years as a part of the West Holts crew. I moved to London when I was 18 to start aiming towards my dream and managed to find myself in a pool of some of the greatest creative minds I have ever met. A year after that I got onto the ETA (European Theatre Arts) course and deciding to go to Rose Bruford was one of the best decisions of my life so far.

Hey! I’m Mia, a Modern Languages and Cultures (MLAC) Undergraduate. I am currently in my first year here at Durham University and I am a part of the Josephine Butler College family. More specifically, I study Spanish (post A-level) and Italian (beginners) at Durham and I am loving learning both languages in such a beautiful city. When I am not watching a Spanish series on Netflix or following an Italian influencer online you would probably find me taking part in some of Durham’s societies.
