One of my biggest goals is to study abroad in Japan for a year. I’ve always been passionate about experiencing different cultures, and I believe immersing myself in a new environment will be an incredible learning experience. Not only will it give me a fresh perspective on the world, but it’s also a great way to grow personally and professionally. Employers value people who are ambitious, independent, and open to new experiences, and I see this opportunity as a way to develop those qualities even further. Plus, let’s be honest—exploring Japan, learning the language, and diving into the culture sounds like an amazing adventure! I'm a person who do what they love, badminton has become an incredible part of my life here at Coventry, allowing me to play and train up to 7 days a week. Similar with my course; I used to love the thought of becoming a commercial Pilot however after researching into it, the cost was extraordinary. Aviation Management fosters my passion for commercial aviation and maybe in the future I will be searching for a place in the managerial sector of aviation rather than a pilot.

I have started my first year at Chester University studying mental health nursing. I choose to study mental health nursing as I find mental health interesting and I am a caring person, who wants to help others. I studied GCSE and A Level Psychology, which gave me the interest into mental health.   When I qualify as a nurse, I eventually progress into therapy.  I live at home in Cheshire with my parents and younger brother.  I commute to Chester for my studies and to meet up with friends.

I previously studied Applied Medical Sciences at Swansea from 2018-2021. I have a keen interest in emergency and pre-hospital medicine, as well as anaesthetics and intensive care medicine. I am currently part of the lifesaving club, where we train 3 times a week, and compete against other universities across the UK. I also work part time as a call handler for 111 Wales.

I am currently studying Sociology with my original aspiration of becoming a teacher. However, in studying at Glasgow I have been given the opportunity to study Politics/International Relations and History. By studying these extra subjects I have realised I have many career options with a job in Politics becoming more appealing. I would be interested in working with the public and have an interest in social issues. Out with university I enjoy going new places, meeting new people and can't wait to travel again soon. Glasgow is full of friendly faces so university has been great to easily connect with like minded people sharing my interests.

Hi! I'm Alexandra, in my final year of Finance with Actuarial Science. I love all things fun from enjoying the hustle and bustle of London to learning more about Finance and Actuarial Science, its exciting I get to do all that at City. A Malaysian/ Singaporean who loves cooking but also has her fair share of take outs ( I know some delicious spots!), made some good friends and have taken many flights over my term breaks. I love my degree because of the skills I get to hone especially analytically but also because of the exposure I have when I get to choose my electives- I am exposed and developed holistically. 
Regarding accommodation: I've tried Halls, Private Student Accommodation and Private Accommodation.

Hi, I'm Alexandra and I'm a 2nd year Drama and Creative Writing undergraduate student at UEA. I'm Spanish/Bolivian but have lived most of my life in Bolivia. As someone with a passion for stage and screen, I chose the Drama and Creative Writing course at UEA to develop and acquire more skills that would allow me to succeed in my career path. I am particularly passionate about scriptwriting, acting and filmmaking, so in the future, I hope I can dedicate myself to all of them. I was previously studying graphic design in Bolivia, but I decided to apply to UEA to pursue my goals; however, I still dedicate some time to it because I love it. I also enjoy photography (especially nature photography), drawing and painting, writing and dancing.

Hi, I’m Alexia! I’m a second year student in my undergraduate degree (including a placement year), working as a student ambassador for BU.

I have Portuguese parents but I was born in the UK, so I am more fluent in English but I can hold a good conversation in Portuguese :]. 

In the future, I want to become a counselling psychologist/therapist and also pursue music in some form (although that bit isn’t planned out yet lol). I have 2 Mainecoon cats and practice a variety of sports and musical instruments, including kickboxing and piano. It’ll be tough to balance everything this year but I’m determined to stay healthy and happy throughout my degree and make the most out of the social aspect of uni!

Hi, I'm Alexia. I have lived in Romania for 11 years before coming to London. The transition from Romania to the UK was challenging as I had to adapt to a new language and way of life. However, it's been an incredible journey so far. I am currently in my third year studying psychology at Goldsmiths. I have decided to pursue this degree because I was curious about the human mind and behaviour and here at Goldsmiths I can explore this further. After completing my undergraduate studies, I want to take a gap year to travel, as well as gain experience in the field that I am interested in. Hello! 👋 I'm Alice, a student at the University of Essex currently pursuing an integrated masters in Tropical Marine Biology. I'm thrilled to be a part of the Unibuddy community as a Student Ambassador, where I can share my unique journey and experiences with you.

Beyond the academic realm, I have a deep passion for invertebrates in the sea, including jellyfish and other odd looking creatures! Extra-curricular activities are where I find balance between academia and fun. Squash, running and scuba diving are sports that I truly enjoy. The thrill of a competitive squash match or the serenity of a long run along the coastline are experiences I cherish.

Future Career Plan:

As I progress through my academic journey, my ultimate goal is to contribute significantly to the field of marine biology. I aspire to earn a Ph.D., conducting ground-breaking research that sheds light on the complexities of gelatinous animals and their role in marine ecosystems. My vision extends beyond the laboratory; I aim to bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and public understanding, advocating for the conservation of our oceans.
