Hi! I started at Reading in 2021 and have loved every minute! Transitioning straight from sixth form to uni definitely felt like a big step but knowing other people were in the same boat as me was very reassuring. I moved here from a small town and now love the mixture of beautiful campus and bustling town centre. Helping others has always been a passion of mine so doing a course which works towards a career dedicated to this is super rewarding, and I would love to work with children in the future. I'm Holly, a first-year studying Law with American Studies, and I'm happy to answer your questions :) I previously did law at A-level where I found a real passion for the subject and decided to study it at University, which so far has been great as I've met some brilliant people who share my interest for the subject, but have also made great friends elsewhere, such as in my flat! My course also allows me to do a study abroad year which I am very excited about. I aspire to be a law professor or go into practice as a solicitor, but I am still not 100% sure!

Hi I'm Holly, I chose to study psychology as after studying it for GCSE and A-Level and falling in love with the subject, I genuinely couldn't imagine studying anything else!! 
I chose Chester as it was the first open day I went to and no where else compared so I knew it was the place for me :)
The foundation year wasn't my original plan, but it definitely is not something to worry about. I am not too sure what I want to do when I complete the course I think I'll just take advantage of whatever opportunities I find along the way.
