I chose to study here at quite the last minute because I changed my mind about what I wanted to pursue and Strathclyde allows me to do joint honours for a combination of subjects which is not offered by most universities. I have been really enjoying my classes so far and I am looking forward to my remaining years ahead at university! Hey there! I'm Imran and I am currently studying Television Production with an aim of working in sports broadcast industry. I am really passionate about filming, editing, and creating content. I have experience in camera operating, vision mixing, directing, rigging and de-rigging kit, and fixing connection issues. I love playing sports, and play badminton professionally. I have played in several badminton tournaments both nationally and internationally. I am currently in London on a placement year working at Disney as a Broadcast Technology and Operations Intern.

Hi my name is Izzie! I am currently in my second year of university at Southampton Solent and I am studying BSc (Hons) Sports and Exercise Therapy. I am eager to learn more about my course each day and advance my knowledge! I previously finished my A levels and wanted to pursue a career in the sports. I love playing hockey and during sixth form I played for my school team and also played for my home town, therefore I decided to carry on playing and now play for the Women's Hockey team here at Solent. It's so interesting to see a different dynamic of playing depending on what teams you are playing for. Outside of sports, I love baking as well as going for long walks in the countryside, to help me relax when I might be feeling stressed.
