Before I came to University, I studied criminology, psychology and law at A-Level which is where my interest in all things crime sparked, hence why i decided to carry this on in University.
When I graduate in September I plan to move abroad for a year to experience life in a different country and then would love to come back to the UK and join the police force.

Media (including by practice) - MPhil/PhD

Over the past 9 years, I've been deeply involved in performing arts, where I've explored theatre, dance, and singing. These experiences have taught me a lot about expressing myself and have built my confidence a lot.

Now, I'm excited to explore the world of media and acting in the future. I'm drawn to the idea of bringing characters to life on screen and telling stories in new ways. Combining my background in performing arts with this new adventure feels like the perfect next step. Whilst studying I have also gained an extra passion for radio which has broadened my skillset, and my course has really allowed me to hone my skills and a whole bunch of new ones. Along with all this I have met a lot of amazing people and been very comfortable studying.

My name is Jasmine and I am a third year student. After I graduate, I hope to do a Masters Degree in Education, followed by a PGCE year to become a secondary school teacher. I'm currently doing supply work in Lincoln secondary schools and am absolutely loving it!

I enjoy exercise and going to the gym; recently discovering gym classes such as zumba and spin where I go with my flat mates after uni. We also play badminton together each week, something I had not played before starting university and has become one of my favourite social activities!!

English was my favourite subject in school and I love reading all types of fiction books and watching films, especially with my close friends. I listen to a lot of music, being a huge Taylor Swift fan, and I enjoy going to concerts, with my most recent being the JLS reunion tour and my next being Taylor Swift this summer!

I am a 2nd Chemistry and mathematics student at the university of Lincoln originally from a town in London. My favourite modules in my degree would be the physical and organic modules in chemistry, additionally calculus and differentiation have also been modules I have enjoyed these past 2 years at Uni. I am a musical theatre fan who was in the society last year and is now the Choreographer of the society this year that I do in my spare time and started badminton this year that I go to every week. The social life in Lincoln outside of studying is so exciting. I enjoy going out shopping and going on nights out with my friends and seeing the beautiful sights of the city.
