Education With Primary Teaching Qualification [MEduc]
I aspire to become a primary school teacher, which is inspired by my parents' military service and me having to move around a lot, which enabled me to see the importance of educuation and teachers. My goal is to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive and grow as individuals.

I'm a fourth year student who equally loves socialising with friends and sitting in the library with a big dusty book. I study politics and am the a tutor for the Student Experience Team here in the College of Social Sciences. I really enjoy exploring all that Glasgow has to offer at the weekend. I was originally quite worried about coming to university in such a big city, but I absolutely love it here! I'm always open for questions. :)

Geology [BSc/MSci]
Hey! I’m Jess, a second year undergraduate Geology student with hopes to go into the fields of either volcanology or geotechnical engineering. I come from the Lake District in the UK which probably led to my interest in geology and the environment as well as growing up watching disaster films such as Dante’s peak leading to an interest in natural disasters (particularly volcanoes). I have A-levels in geology, geography and environmental science and have studied geography as an elective subject alongside my degree. I’m happy to answer any questions you may have :)

Psychology [BSc/MA/MA(SocSci)]
I am from a very small town in Ohio where nothing interesting happened, so traveling across the world to study in Glasgow has been a huge transition, yet the best thing I have ever done. I love the amazing people and the opportunity to explore Scotland as well as the rest of the world.
After university, I am planning on becoming an inpatient psychotherapist where I will work in hospitals to help adolescents and young adults who are struggling with mental health or are in crisis. My main goal in life is to help those in need around me the best I can.

International Relations [MA(SocSci]
I grew up in a bunch of different places, like Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Sweden, Belgium and now Scotland. I hope to work as a diplomat, with the United Nations and conflict resolution. Before coming to UofG, I did the International Baccalaureate program in high school. I'm interested in a lot of political issues but also hiking in nature, gardening and foraging, and skiing/snowboarding. I adore the pub culture of the UK and really feel at home in Glasgow now :)
