Hi! I'm Lithmi and I’m currently a final year medical student. If you’re a school leaver and starting Medicine right after graduating school it can be quite challenging, so feel free to bombard me with any questions about the big shift! I’ve also travelled over 8000km to be in Aberdeen so if you’re wanting to know about the experience of settling into a new city far away from home, about the course, or even just living in Aberdeen, I’m here to answer any questions you have!
Looking forward to helping you out!

Megan
Bangor University
Medicine
Hi, I'm a first-year medical student at Bangor University, and although I didn't initially plan to come here, I am so grateful to receive an offer through clearing, as it not only enabled me to study medicine, it also allowed me to study in a picturesque setting - surrounded by the mountains of Snowdonia and the many surrounding beaches of Anglesey and Llandudno - which ensure that there is always something exciting to do outdoors. I'm also really into running, and there is nothing quite like going for a jog surrounded by the beautiful coastal and mountain views that make this place so special. Outside of my degree, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved, and I'm currently the BMA representative for the North Wales Medical School.

I am a 4th year Graduate Entry Medicine Student and I also did my Bsc in Medical Pharmacology at Swansea. I love dance, aerial sports and cheerleading, it has been a great experience so far. There are a lot of different areas of Swansea that can be explored. I was born in America but have done GCSE and A-levels in the United Kingdom. I have various jobs connected to the university such as Student Ambassador. The Medical Pharmacology course was a great and engaging experience and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Hi, I'm Sara and I've really enjoyed my time at the university so far, its been lovely to meet so many different people and enjoy student life! I know it can seem a little daunting at first but there are lots of events and societies organised to meet new people and have fun! Personally I like to bake, read and I'd love to travel and explore new cultures. After I've completed my degree, I have an interest in pediatrics , however, I'm still very uncertain at this stage- (let's hope I survive my exams first..)

Medicine BMBS
Hi there! I’m Sarah, a third year medical student at Brighton and Sussex medical School. I am a mature student having worked for the UK Government for the past ten year, and a graduate, completing my first degree in Medical Neuroscience here at the University of Sussex. It really feels like I have come full circle now that I am back here studying medicine!
I hope to become a GP once I finish my degree, but we get so much exposure to different specialities I am also excited to explore. I enjoy yoga and cold water swimming which is great as I live by the sea for the first time!
Sreshta
University of Chester
Graduate Entry Medicine
Hi there! I’m currently studying Graduate Entry Medicine with a long-term goal of specialising in Paediatrics or Obstetrics and Gynaecology (so far that is my plan). My journey into medicine began with an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences, which helped fuel my passion for healthcare and solidified my decision to pursue a career in medicine.
I spent the first 14 years of my life in the UK before moving to Dubai, where I completed the last four years of my high school education. Being an partial international student myself, I understand how challenging it can be to adapt to new environments and navigate life away from home, but I also appreciate the unique experiences that come with it.
Outside of my academic pursuits, I have a strong passion for music—I play four instruments and enjoy badminton in my free time and play for the university team. I’m always keen to meet new people, share experiences, and support others who might be going through similar journeys.
