I am a northern girl with a huge passion for history. My career plan is to hopefully become a historian in a royal palace, specifically Hampton Court Palace. My favourite periods in history are the Wars of The Roses and the Tudor periods. I have a few different hobbies that include reading historical fiction and also trying to see as many musicals as possible.

Hi there! I am an MSc Student who recently graduated from Strathclyde with a BA in Business Analysis and Technology and Business Law. In my honours year,  I had the opportunity to complete an investigation to determine the feasibility of mass adoption of AI.  I was fascinated by this exciting domain and wanted to further explore the technological underpinnings. I have a strong interest in this area as the possibilities for applications are vast. 
In my free time, I enjoy exploring both Scotland and abroad, but particularly this beautiful country. Some of my favourite memories from Strathclyde have been the sports ball, a mountaineering trip to Glencoe, and attending fight nights. I have had so many great experiences from my time as a student here from from being a sports union volunteer to becoming a class rep.  So much to get involved in! I am happy to chat about anything regarding Glasgow,  academia, and any other aspects of student life :)

Hi, my name is Eniola. I was born in London but I am Nigerian by blood, and I am currently studying Business Management with French! French is a language I have been passionate about since I was young, and I chose to study this course after a trip to Marseille, in which I fell in love with the French culture: the music, the food, the vibes. From there, I applied to Essex through clearing as I was coming to the end of my gap year. I wanted to study a degree that combined the two things that I loved, marketing and French, and Essex was one of the very few universities that offered this opportunity. Doing a combined degree has opened a lot of doors for me, for example, in my first year I became a Social Media Ambassador for the university, and I also was given the chance to do a Marketing internship in Paris at the end of my first year. This was very rewarding as being able to do marketing not only for the university but in my favourite city as well was a dream come true.

Over my four years studying at UWTSD I have become involved in lots of sectors within the university as student representative and have a broad knowledge and experience of the courses. Through the foundation course in art and design I have gone onto a degree in photography, here I love to explore all the different photographic processes that reflect sustainability and ecology as well as empowering women. Starting medical school was both exciting and slightly overwhelming, as I fortunately received an offer through clearing. At Bangor University, I’ve learned that medicine isn’t just about studying—it’s about adapting, growing, and finding balance. While Bangor may not be the biggest city, its supportive atmosphere and hands-on learning made it a great place to begin my journey. With mountains to hike, lakes to explore, and breathtaking scenery all around, there’s always a way to escape the stress of studying. My time at Bangor has also given me the opportunity to explore nearby cities, allowing me to discover new places and fully enjoy the experience of traveling.
Outside of medicine, I stay active through athletics, enjoy cooking (and eating!), unwind with movie nights, and stay grounded through Bible study.
