 I intend to enter the legal profession as a barrister, having had experience shadowing a practising barrister. I love advocacy, defending an argument, and client-based interaction, so working as a lawyer would be fantastic! I am Vice President of the Lancaster Bombers, our university's American Football team, having previously served as a Social Secretary for a year. This sport is my passion outside of my studies, and so my role on the executive committee allows me to have a leadership role within the team.

Currently, I am a fourth year Common Law student here at UoG so I spend lots of my time with my head buried in textbooks but I'm really enjoying the final year of my degree. I am a massive theatre nerd and this year, I'm the Workshops Officer for Student Theatre at Glasgow (STAG) - this has been a super fun way to meet loads of new people and work on some theatre with them! Hi!! I'm a postgraduate law student, doing my International Law LLM at University of Glasgow, I have also got my Common Law LLB degree last June from the same university, so I have been here for a long time :)) I am hoping to specialise in women's rights and gender equality. I'm from Turkey and this is my fifth year in Glasgow and in UofG :) 

I have been dancing and acting since I was a kid. So, I have been very involved in performing arts for so many years and I am super lucky to be still doing that in university. I loveeeee meeting new people, attending social events, spending time with my friends, and always finding something fun to do in Glasgow with my loved ones (as a wee Covid fresher in my undergrad, I am happy that I am finally having a normal freshers week for my postgrad)!! I am a second year common law student from London. After university I plan to train to be a barrister. My passions include football - I play for Glasgow every Wednesday. I also like running and have run a marathon before. Outside of sports, I really enjoy being on the Glasgow Raising and Giving committee where I am responsible for organising RAG week. I also am the Editor-in-Chief of the Glasgow University Law Review and Publicity Convenor for the bar society. I really enjoy being involved in these as its a great chance to meet new people.
