I'm a Classical Studies student in my first year at the University of Reading. At A-level, I studied History and Performing Arts. I'm the first sibling to go to university, so I know what it's like to feel a bit lost and confused about the future. In my free time, I like to read about Greek Mythology. Hi there, I'm Matt, a MA Medieval Studies graduate based at UWTSD Lampeter. I completed my 2nd year of masters (YES - Masters at Lampeter are split over 2 years full time!) following my completion of my undergraduate degree in BA Archaeology and Medieval Studies, also at Lampeter. I have a huge interest in the Medieval period in general, although I am especially passionate about the Viking Age. Lampeter has also given me the opportunity to combine my interests with a new hobby in the form of re-enactment, with the Medieval Society on Campus giving me the opportunity to spend the weekends re-enacting at various castles all over Britain.
