Before university, I studied as an apprentice for two years and then worked in a variety of different places but I eventually decided to go to university.     Hi! I’m Benjamin, and I’m currently studying BA (Hons) Architectural Design and Technology at Southampton Solent University. I’m passionate about design, urban planning, and how architecture shapes our daily lives. I decided to study architecture because I’ve always been fascinated by buildings, spaces, and the way environments can influence people’s experiences. The creative and technical aspects of the field draw me in, and I love the challenge of merging functionality with aesthetics. At Solent, I’m exploring everything from architectural theory to hands-on design projects. We get to work with both traditional and digital tools, and the program offers a great balance of studio work and technical learning. So far, I’ve worked on some exciting projects. I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you may have about my course area or Solent generally.

    Hi! I’m Beth, a third-year BA (Hons) Media Production student, with a growing focus on marketing. Currently, I work alongside my studies for a few different companies including Southampton Solent University where I run the Content Creators Lab which aims to collaborate and teach other students about marketing. As well as this, I work as a Marketing & Branding Intern at BCFF. After graduation, I hope to become a Marketing Executive. One of my main passions is water sports, specifically, I enjoy standup paddle boarding. There are loads of places near Southampton to do it! As well as this, I enjoy rock climbing and bouldering as well as some more simple hobbies such as reading and crocheting. Specifically, I love fantasy novels, and I am a massive Star Wars fan.

    Hi my name is Izzie! I am currently in my second year of university at Southampton Solent and I am studying BSc (Hons) Sports and Exercise Therapy. I am eager to learn more about my course each day and advance my knowledge! I previously finished my A levels and wanted to pursue a career in the sports. I love playing hockey and during sixth form I played for my school team and also played for my home town, therefore I decided to carry on playing and now play for the Women's Hockey team here at Solent. It's so interesting to see a different dynamic of playing depending on what teams you are playing for. Outside of sports, I love baking as well as going for long walks in the countryside, to help me relax when I might be feeling stressed.
