UWE BristolEnglish LiteratureHello everyone! I study English Literature and I am currently in my second year of university. I have an interest in children's literature, looking to go into publishing as a career. I am an open book and would love to help you answer any queries you may have, as I have been in your position and know how daunting it can all feel. Whether you have questions about English Literature BA(Hons), UWE life as a whole or things like student budgeting, don't hesitate to ask :) Alpha
University of East Anglia UEALiterature and Creative WritingHi, I am Boakye Dacosta (with pseudonym Boakye D. Alpha), a multifaceted creative known for my contributions to the Ghanaian creative community as a writer, filmmaker and content creator. I have established myself as a versatile creative with a passion for telling stories that address societal issues and advocate for underrepresented voices. Recognised for my talent, I have received numerous accolades including the Tony Elumelu Storytellers Fund and the Multichoice Talent Factory scholarship for emerging filmmakers in Africa. My works have been featured in GUAP Magazine (UK), Shallow Tales Reviews, and Lolwe among others. I am currently working on a novel. Andrew
University of ChesterBA Creative Writing and English Literature26 year old mature student from London, UK studying BA Creative Writing & English Literature. Primarily interested in writing poetry & short stories. Aspiring to become a poet/author one day. Happy to discuss any university related topic or answer any questions! Ashli
University of ChesterBA Creative Writing and English LiteratureHi! I'm Ashli and a second year in the University of Chester, and I am happy to answer any of your questions regarding life in Chester, being a second year or first year, being an English student, or whatever you have any queries about. Just drop a question! My previous course was a T-Level in Education and Childcare. Audrey
Durham UniversityBA English Literature (Q300)Hi! I'm Audrey, a year 2 English Literature student from Hong Kong. My college is St. Mary's, and I highly recommend it - most of the friends I've made here are from Mary's as well, the community is very nice in general (I'm currently involved in the Book Club, but there are so many more societies!), and the cherry blossoms are beautiful in the spring. I'm open to discussing anything about Durham, from adjusting to the teaching and learning methods from a non-A-levels background, to the collegiate system, to food and weather (it actually rains less than you think). I'm also one of the student representatives for the English Department, so feel free to approach me with any questions about the degree! Ben
University of East Anglia UEALiterature and Creative Writing3rd year English Literature student currently finishing my studies at UEA and set to begin my MA in Archiving at UCL next year. Working towards a career in Archiving and Record Preservation. Particularly interests in Critical Theory and philosophy. Passionate about exploring the intersections between literature, politics, music, visual art and our collective histories. The written word is not dead or static but full of life which it gives to us, which is why I feel the study of Literature is so significant. I also enjoy creative writing as a way of developing my passion for reading, and enjoying an appreciation for my favourite books which is interactive and participatory. In my spare time I boulder at Rock Punk Climbing Cafe, located on Magdalen Street in Norwich, and Highball Climbing Centre, just a bus ride away from the City Centre. I love the element of problem solving involved in completing difficult routes and advancing towards harder challenges with a renewed set of physical and mental skills. I also find that Climbing is a sport that has helped me immensely around difficulties stemming from complete blindness in my left eye, such as strengthening depth perception and hand eye coordination. It is something I'd recommend very highly to anyone with impaired eye-sight (and everyone else too!) I am also well acquainted with the DSA process by virtue of my blindness so please do message me if you're curious or facing any troubles with regard to disability allowance and support! I have also skateboarded for a number of years and enjoy a street skate sesh or a trip to Eaton Park whenever I can :) Catrin

I'm interested in all things sports, books and creative writing, in particular, historical fiction and fantasy. I'm also the Vice-President for UEA Taekwondo Club, having been the Publicity Officer and First Year Representative in my first year. Feel free to ask me any questions about my degree, university life, societies/clubs, part time jobs at UEA, advice on starting university and more! Edi
