The adventure side of the course also helps me develop as a leader and educator in the outdoors. After my 2nd year, I took part in a 4-week ‘sustainability & culture’ exchange programme in Malaysia, staying at Sunway University. I had an incredible time learning about everything Malaysian, travelling in my free time, and meeting so many wonderful people. It was truly a life changing experience. Cooking is another of my interests, and I love experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. I also value meaningful conversations and enjoy connecting with others, making new friends, and exchanging ideas. In terms of my career goals, I’m excited to pursue a future as a physiotherapist in the UK, where I can apply my skills and contribute to improving people’s health and mobility. I’m also considering the possibility of returning to Canada in the future to continue my practice, and I have a long-term aspiration of opening my own physiotherapy clinic one day.
