University of WarwickMSci Integrated Natural SciencesHi! I am the resident Northern Irish on the Integrated Natural Sciences course. Thanks to my older siblings I feel like I had a head start on approaching university. While I am not an international student I am one of the few domestic students that needs to head to an airport or port to get home. I plan to finish my masters at Warwick and then do a Phd elsewhere, I have not given much thought to all the details yet. Melissa
Durham UniversityBSc Natural Sciences (CFG0)Hi everyone! My name is Melissa and I am a first-year Natural Sciences student at St Mary's College, Durham. I study a wide variety of modules across a range of departments - Biology, Anthropology, Psychology and Geography this year! Alongside my degree I love to get involved in college life, and have even been known to venture to the Lake District with the Hill Walking Society at the weekends! Feel free to reach out with any questions about my societies, Natural Sciences, St Mary's College or just Durham student life in general! :) Melody
Lancaster UniversityNatural SciencesWithin Natural Sciences, I study modules on the biology and psychology pathways with some of my favourite areas being evolutionary biology, zoology and social psychology. I really enjoy opportunities where I am working with people such as job a Student Ambassador and thrive in roles where I can make a positive change through socialising with others. I have interests in orcas and politics plus I love dogs and Disney!! I like playing badminton, playing board games, sewing and getting involved in the university community through societies and opportunities. Currently, I would like a career where I can improve the education system to make it fairer and more enjoyable/practical for students. Oliver
Lancaster UniversityNatural SciencesHi! I’m Oliver I’m a third year natural sciences student studying Synthetic Chemistry and Biochemistry pathways and am hoping to potentially go on into research in the future. I’m also really interested in film, tv and music and am part of the University of Lancaster Music Society. Feel free to ask me anything about the course or just life at Lancaster. Stephanie
Lancaster UniversityNatural SciencesI'm studying physics and biology through the natural science degree at Lancaster. I love the depth of learning I've achieved through continuing with both throughout each year of my degree. I'm happy to answer any questions you have, including anything about the departments, workload, course structures, support systems, the campus or city, and first settling in! Tadiwa
University of WarwickMSci Integrated Natural SciencesHi there, science-wise, I'm interested in the mechanisms of disease, what makes them infectious and the different effects of diseases themselves. I also appreciate the links between different fields of science hence choosing my degree. Outside of science, I enjoy music, travelling and gathering new experiences! Xuan
University of WarwickMSci Integrated Natural SciencesHi! I'm a second year undergraduate studying Integrated Natural Sciences at the University of Warwick. I'm passionate about lab work and hands on science with an interest in interdisciplinary biology, focusing on molecular biology and genetics, computational analyses and interlinking various scientific approaches with experimental techniques. When I'm not in classes I enjoy drawing and watercolour painting, as well as crafts and cooking an occasionally good meal. I'm currently also the social secretary for the course namesake society (InSoc- Integrated Science Society) and a member of the Student-Staff Liason committee for the course, so feel free to reach out with any questions you might have and I'd be happy to answer, whether they be course-specific questions or questions about life on campus or anything else!
