University of East Anglia UEAArt History and World Art StudiesBefore starting my PhD I was working in the museum sector, in collections management. I am passionate about heritage and culture, and after graduating I would like to go back to this field. Emma
Leeds Beckett UniversityEnglish & History | BA (Hons)I am a northern girl with a huge passion for history. My career plan is to hopefully become a historian in a royal palace, specifically Hampton Court Palace. My favourite periods in history are the Wars of The Roses and the Tudor periods. I have a few different hobbies that include reading historical fiction and also trying to see as many musicals as possible. Emma
University of LincolnEnglish and History - BA (Hons)Hi! My name is Emma and I'm a second year English and History student. I love reading and exploring old ruins and museums, and this degree has only helped to increase my love of these things. I am President of the Korfball Society, and being a part of this society has really helped me to settle into the uni lifestyle and make friends, which was something I was nervous about when starting. Evie
Durham UniversityBA History (V100)Hi i´m Evie!! I´ve just completed my first year at Durham studying History. My college is St Cuthbert´s society and I am involved in my college´s cheerleading, volunteering, and fashion show. I come from a state school background and a very small village so would be happy to talk about adjusting to Uni life or anything else you want to chat about! Georgia
University of WarwickUndergraduate Classics and Ancient HistoryI'm Georgia, a 19 year old Classics student from a small town near Reading! After studying both Latin and Greek in school, I have taken a step back from Ancient languages for my first year at uni to explore different sides to classics. Now due to both my language experience from school and what I have learnt at uni, I feel I can give you an accurate view on what Classics at Warwick is like, and answer any further questions you might have! Additionally, coming from a small town with nothing but a single costa coffee shop, moving to the University of Warwick was a big change in how I began to live my life! I had previous experience in staying away from home and my family before university, therefore i'm always happy to chat about the experiences of moving away from home! One of my biggest fears about coming to uni was that I would not be able to make any friends, as I had previously had struggles with making friends at school, but I immediately hit it off with several of my flatmates, who had similar interests as me thanks to Warwick's accommodation quiz! From there I was able to meet even more friends through my course, and through societies like Mixed Hockey! In short, I have never been happier than I am now at Warwick, and I have really been able to express the real me at university! Feel free to ask me questions about any area of life here at Warwick and I will do my best to help and advise you! Hannah
University of ReadingBA Ancient HistoryI'm aiming to work in the Heritage sector (Stonehenge would be ideal haha)! I love all things ancient women and ancient warfare related. Shipwrecks are another passion of mine, especially the ones from ancient Greece. Harriet
University of Wales Trinity Saint DavidHistory (BA)Hi, I am Harriet, a first year History student at the University of Wales Trinity St David. I am a keen historian who is primarily interested in early modern history, particularly empires, royalty and gender studies. Outside of my interest in history I am very much interested in fashion, makeup, The Sims franchise and food. Alongside this I am also a keen traveller and love to go on holidays, whether in the UK or abroad and learn about new places and cultures! On my bucket list at the moment is to go to Rome and the Holy See, as well as Kensington Palace, the childhood home of Queen Victoria! After University, I am planning on going into teaching with the aim of becoming a History and Politics teacher at Secondary School and/or Sixth Form/College. Feel free to message me if you have any questions about studying at UWTSD or are interested in studying History at any university! 😊 Harvey
