University of AberdeenLanguage & Linguistics and Sociology MAHi! I'm Nella. I'm from the East Coast of Spain and the Black Forest in Germany. I moved to Edinburgh for a volunteering gap year after finishing high school, and I liked Scotland so much I decided to stay! Moving to the North-East was a big change, but one of my favourite things to do now is to explore Aberdeen and the shire and find out about local events and all goings-on. Emily
Lancaster UniversityHuman ResourcesI have always had a passion for musical theatre and completed my foundation degree in it at Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London! I now hope to continue with a career in Human Resources or perhaps even blending these two disciplines together in the future, may that be in the UK, Germany or where my travels take me. Erik
Southampton Solent UniversityBEng (Hons) Mechanical EngineeringHi! I’m Erik, an engineering student at the Southampton Solent University. I have a passion for problem-solving, innovation, and hands-on projects—whether it’s designing a gas mask for my final year project or experimenting with Arduino sensors. I’m also really interested in R&D and hope to work in cutting-edge technology after university. Outside of engineering, I play electric guitar and love getting involved in music, especially in a live setting. I also enjoy a good cup of tea (honey > sugar, always). If you have any questions about studying engineering, university life, or just want a chat, feel free to reach out! Fay

Durham UniversityBSc Geology (F600)Hello! My name is Keshav, and I'm a first year, studying Bsc Climate Science. I was originally born in Germany, but have been living in England for over 8 years. I'm excited to share my story with you and help you get a better sense of what it's like to be a student at Durham University. I'm currently studying Climate Science, because of the interconnection they have between Geology and Geography. I found it difficult to decide which one I preferred, and felt that this course had the best of both world's. Taking modules in both subjects always keep it fresh and interesting. So far, my favourite subjects have been understanding some of the difficulties we have in dealing with climate change, and the current importance of mitigation and adaption. One of my favourite experiences has been to engage with world leading professors, who are currently dealing with several issues on climate. Group work sessions are also great, as you get to make friends with people across the world, learning about different cultures and traditions along the way. In my free time, I enjoy travelling, playing music, and watching sports. If you have made it this far, I can tell that you are interested! I hope this gives you a better sense of what it's like to be a student at Durham University. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me, and I will be happy to help. Kiso
University of WestminsterSustainability Management and Innovation MScHey! My name is Kiso and I’m currently studying MSc Sustainability Management and Innovation at University of Westminster.
