We deliver more than mail. And you can too.

At Royal Mail, we make billions of deliveries each year, and our people are at the heart of it. So, if you’re looking for a career right out of school or college, or just want to change paths, you could find your perfect role as an apprentice here.

Whether you’re just completing your GCSEs, A-Levels, or have a bit more experience, we have a range of apprenticeships differing in role and level for you to choose from. You’ll earn while you learn your way to a qualification and join a supportive team where you’ll be guided by experienced mentors. As long as you’ve got the passion, we’ve got the opportunity.

Our Apprentice Roundtable

We’ve gathered six of our apprentices to chat about their experience as an apprentice at Royal Mail and Parcelforce Worldwide in our Apprentice Roundtable. With a variety of early careers programmes on offer, Royal Mail is an ideal place to kickstart your career.

Build skills for life

We want to help all our apprentices kickstart their careers and work their way to industry-recognised qualifications, all while keeping one of the nation’s most recognisable businesses running smoothly.

Wherever you start with us, you’ll have all the opportunities you need to progress your career as far as you want. We have the assets, infrastructure and scale that others don’t, and are a big part of the communities we operate in. It takes all kinds of teams to keep us delivering mail and more to the millions of households up and down the country, and with Driver, Engineering, Fleet Technician, Finance, and Degree Apprenticeships available, the choice is yours. If you’re interested in a career in driving, our LGV Driver Apprenticeship could be your perfect introduction, as part of the largest and most recognisable fleet in the UK. Our Engineering Apprenticeships see you working with cutting edge technology and learning how we use it to improve our business. Our Fleet Vehicle Maintenance Technician Apprenticeships are perfect for passionate aspiring mechanics, covering everything from routine servicing to major rebuilds and modifications and more. Our Finance Apprenticeship will give you variety, challenge and a blend of theory and practical work to help you develop into a successful Finance professional. Or, if you want a degree but don’t think university is for you, we have a variety of Degree Apprenticeships available. Here, you’ll partner and collaborate with leaders across the business to manage projects, activities or services to help deliver long-term success, earning a degree at the end of it.
