Testimonials

Everyone works as a team

An apprenticeship at AZ offered me a unique opportunity to get practical experience working alongside industry experts whilst learning new concepts and ideas, enabling me to apply concepts from the degree course to real-life problems in the lab.

A positive work environment

This degree apprenticeship offered practical, hands-on learning, which played to my strengths and allowed me to gain a qualification that was acknowledged by the industry, while being able to learn on the job and add value to patients.
I’ve worked at AZ for five years and secured a permanent role just over a year ago. Carrying on my education was important but didn’t want to spend time and money doing a full-time degree. Being able to complete a BSc and rotate around different areas to find a role I loved, is what really appealed to me. I also decided after I graduated from the BSc to continue on to the MSc, which definitely isn’t something I even considered before starting. I wanted to continue my learning and love that I’m able to bring back learnings from university into my team.
