Katrina Edmunds

Academic Counsellor, International School of Lausanne

Katrina is an experienced international school counsellor based in Switzerland, where she has been guiding students through their transition from school to higher education and beyond for over four years.

With a strong commitment to helping young people find purpose and direction, she supports students in identifying their interests, setting meaningful goals, and developing strategies for long-term success. She collaborates closely with her colleagues, parents and alumni, and effectively leverages her network to achieve these goals.

Katrina’s international perspective is informed by her background in both student advising and global university recruitment as she previously worked at the University of Edinburgh, alongside her postgraduate studies in the management of international higher education. She is a Board Member of Business and Professional Women (BPW) Lake Geneva, where she leads initiatives to engage and grow membership, driven by her passion for gender equity and women’s empowerment.

Katrina holds a Bachelor's from University College London, a Postgraduate Diploma from Edge Hill University, and a College Counselling Certificate from UCLA Extension and a Coaching Qualification from CTEDU. She brings both practical insights and a future-focused mindset to her work — championing access, inclusion, and student agency in an evolving higher education landscape.
