Summary
College admissions can always be overwhelming, but for neurodivergent students (ADHD, autism, dyslexia, etc.), the process presents unique challenges, especially in international settings where expectations and support systems vary widely. Most International advising focuses on general student needs, but neurodivergent students may require additional considerations in multiple areas such as sensory environments, executive functioning support, social integration, and academic accommodations. This session, led by a neurodivergent educator with more than a decades expertise in this area. will provide counsellors and advisers with practical strategies to ensure these students thrive in international education settings.
