Summary
Over 30% of the undergraduate students who join us each year at the University of Bradford are adult learners, many of whom are returning to learn after a significant break from education and who may also have negative lived experiences from their time at school. The session will begin with a short presentation introducing the demographic profile of the adult learner market at a national level and outlining how we support adult learners during the information, advice and guidance and application processes at the University of Bradford. This presentation will also include case studies which highlight the positive experiences of some of our adult learners and alumni.
