Summary
For some groups of students, going to university comes with a number of challenges and obstacles. This session will look more closely at the journey to higher education for these students, and explore how UCAS is working to help them make a smooth transition and succeed in their studies. The session will cover:
- estranged students
- carers
- students with parenting responsibilities
- refugees and asylum seekers
- service children
- veterans and service leavers
- students with criminal convictions
- trans and non-binary applicants
