Today, UCAS launches a brand new service on ucas.com that enables students to search for postgraduate courses in the UK, and access information and advice about postgraduate study.

The service provides students with a list of 21,500 postgraduate courses at over 430 universities and colleges.

This is the first major step towards UCAS becoming the go-to place for anyone thinking about studying at postgraduate level. Currently, UCAS’ services support young people making choices after their GCSEs and Nationals, as well as those applying for undergraduate study.

Website visitors can expect to see new features added to the postgraduate search over the coming months, while the next step – a postgraduate application management service – is being developed for next year.

Andrew Hargreaves, Director of Customer Experience, Marketing, and Media said:

“It was clear to us that there was an absence of a ‘UCAS style’ service available for people considering postgraduate study, and we wanted to change that. We’re hugely excited that through this innovative tool we will help students embarking on the next phase of their studies.

“This is also a vitally important milestone in our journey to providing an education progression ecosystem. UCAS aims to be the go-to destination for anyone considering progressing their education, we want to offer comprehensive, personalised information and advice, course availability, and the capability to manage all your applications in one place, from GCSEs and Nationals right through to postgraduate study.”
